We're selectively living in this world

When we desire a goal that we believe we can achieve in our heart of hearts, we will be attentive to it, we will keep a watchful eye on any messages or information that can lighten us how to achieve it. Every day, every moment we are exposed to unlimited messages or information. What message or information we will receive or get depends on our mind selection. Yes, we selectively receive and absorb the messages in our daily life. We choose information that can conform to the cognition/beliefs we've already had, we just want to confirm it with information from an external source.  Or we just selectively receive messages that we are subconsciously seeking. So we either get messages that we've already had, but just to confirm the same message in  our mind, or we just get messages that we are seeking. What we are seeking, what we will have.

Even our thoughts we have are selected if we actively think. We think how to create wealth, then our thoughts will naturally revolve around it, we will have thoughts about creating wealth. If we think that we can achieve a goal, our thoughts following this belief will revolve around how the goal can be achieved; if we don't think that we can achieve a goal, our thoughts following this disbelief will revolve around justifications why this goal can't be achieved. When we don't believe a goal can be achieved, we will get justifications and confirmation why it can't be achieved; when we believe that a goal can be achieved, we will start to get ideas how it can be achieved.

What messages/information we receive are selected, what thoughts we have are selected.  Selection creates difference between people's mind. We're selectively living in this world.
