Cynicism doesn't help you

This article comes from my answer to a question on quora.

Success doesn't magically and suddenly happen. Success is an event, while there is a process before it which leads to it. That being said, before you succeed, you need to desire for success, crave for success, you need to be interested in success, you need to feel no shame to talk about success. You even need to visualize that you have been successful. If you can visualize that you have been successful and are comfortable about it, it means that your subconscious mind has accepted it and it will assist you in achieving that goal.
That being said, an outcome can't be caused by something after it, it is not what you say and what you think after you succeed make you success, it is what you say and what you think and what you do before you succeed make you success. To succeed, you need to embrace the concept of success, like to talk about it, let your mind always open, willing to learn the science of success while cynicism makes you feel morally superior but it doesn't actually help you succeed.

We write what we think, and our thinking precedes our actions and will lead to corresponding actions. So we can say that it is our thinking that leads to our success, rather than our actions, because our actions are dictated by our thinking, it's like that a person kills another person with a gun, it is not the gun that kills the person, it is the person who holds the gun kills the other person.

We often trick ourselves. For example, when we think that someone is showing off, actually you don't know whether the person is showing off, quite the opposite, it is the viewer/audience who feels inferior, therefore he/she thinks that the person is showing off. Men are disturbed not by things, but by the view which they take of them. It is our own mind that determines how we interpret and feel what we see.
