Our heart is a programmed heart

It is your heart or mind that determines your wealth. Let me tell you my story.

I learned to think that I was a person who didn't make big amounts of money congenitally, I thought that I was just not in that circle. Therefore, I would never try to read books that talk about how to make big amounts of money. My mom, through her consistent words and behaviors, convinced me that my family were not that kind of people who make big amounts of money and I accepted her concept. When people were talking about matters of making big amounts of money, I would excuse myself away, why? Because the conversation just reminded me of that brutal "fact" that my family were not the type of people who make big amounts of money, it just reminded me of this inferiority, since I didn't want to feel this inferiority, I would avoid it, excuse myself away. I never really thought about making big amounts of money, I thought that it was just a dream, a daydream, a fantasy, it would come to my real life, it was just something that I could remotely want, but it couldn't really happen in my real life. So when I worked, every time when opportunities of making big amounts of money came up, I felt that it was unreal,  I felt that it was dreamlike, I couldn't believe it, although consciously(or rationally) I worked on those opportunities, my subconscious mind often secretly sabotaged me and prevented me from success, therefore I was unable to seize those opportunities and make big amounts of money from it. On my conscious level, I always tried to be rational; on my subconscious level, I just felt that good things were unreal and they couldn't happen, therefore I always tried to sabotage myself, I would secretly destroy the opportunities, undermine the opportunities. You can think that how strange it is. Yes, it is strange. This proves that how your past programming can deeply affect your present and future if you don't reprogram your past programs.

Our mind is a programmed mind, our heart is a programmed heart. Please don't believe your heart. Believe your conscious logic, believe your conscious reasoning that is able to judge what is good and what is bad. Think about it this way, when we look at another person, we always know what he should do to benefit him, we always know what he should do to let him realize his/her goals, but the person doesn't always do what he is supposed to do,  the person doesn't always act the way he is supposed to do, we often feel puzzled,  why doesn't he act the way that can most benefit him? Doesn't he care about his own interests? Doesn't he know how to act is the best for him? It is his feeling that affects his rationality, it is his subconscious mind that affects his logic, therefore he chooses to do what makes him feel good in the present, and not to do what will make him feel good in the future.
