1.  Foreign currency trade.

I have a friend who traded Brazilian real with 52 million US dollars, he earned 3%, which is 154 US dollars. He predicted that 2014 FIFA World Cup would jack up Brazilian real.

Whenever there is a big event like FIFA,Olympic Games, world's fair which happens in a country, the currency in that country is likely to appreciate.

2. Commercial premise investment

The prices of commercial premise like shops can appreciate much faster than residential real estate most of the time. The price of a shop premise can go up from less than 0.3 million dollars to over 1 million dollars in 1 or 2 months. Two factors you need to consider: 1. If someone rents the commercial premise, how good will the business be?  2. How do other people think of the commercial premise? Prices are determined by demand and supply, therefore  you usually need to do the opposite of what the majority of the people do.

3. Bitcoin and Ripple
Bitcoin and Ripple are new currencies, they represent a new trend, opportunities are often in new things, you can win money from them. Since Ripple is newer than Bitcoin, chances are greater opportunities are with Ripple.
