Don't demand the world to present you more than it presents you

Along the way we grow up, we unconsciously set up many expectations, with those expectations we build our "selves". We tell ourselves that it will be terrible if those expectations are not met, since it is "terrible", we will feel upset when we anticipate that those expectations will not be met or those expectations are not being met. The most simply and effective way to cure this is to simply give up those expectations, because those expectations are subjectively fabricated and it doesn't fit the reality. Those expectations will be sometimes met and sometimes unmet in reality, and if we demand that those expectations needs to be constantly or always met, we will cause our mood swings, a lot of mood swings. So just give up any subjectively fabricated expectations, accept the world as it is. Don't require the world more than it presents you.
Is it decadence? No.  The world can only present you what it presents and it can not present you more than what it presents you. It is ridiculous and childish that you demand the world to present you more than it presents you. The world is not your childhood parents. When you were a child, you could always use "demanding" to get what you wanted, because your parents often gave in to satisfy your wants, even your wants were unreasonable. But the world is not your childhood parents, you can not get what you want from it using "demanding". So it is ridiculous to want more from the world than it presents you. If you want more, you need to work your way up to get what you want, in this way, you are demanding the world to give you more, you are working with the world so you can get what you want, it's like that when you help yourself, the world will help you.  You need to know Tao, live with Tao, utilize Tao to realize your goals.

Clear implicit mental standards

We have our goals, and we want to realize our goals, but from the way along our lives, we’ve built up many implicit mental standards which ask us what we can do and what we can not do, mainly those mental standards are to maintain our conceptual self, or our social self. Those implicit mental standards in most cases act as chains and cuffs which greatly inhibit us from realizing our goals. To realize goals, we need to know Tao, but most of the time our attention is consciously or unconsciously invested in our selves, therefore we can not see Tao, because our attention is absorbed by focusing on our selves, on the other hand, we need to utilize Tao to realize our goals, but our mental standards often hinder us from utilizing Tao. So we need to clear the mental standards we’ve built up. We can use two weapons to clear the mental standards, one is “accept”, one is “give up”. We feel good by accepting certain things, and we feel good by giving up certain things, then we will know Tao and we will be able to utilize Tao, and consequently we will achieve our goals.

Inferior

When I was young, I felt deeply inferior, I studied very hard, because I wanted to show all people that I was more intelligent and more capable than  relevant people. This defect greatly harmed me and greatly harmed my life. I was not as intelligent and capable as I seemed to be, I just worked much harder than my peers.
I feared to admit that I felt inferior and I feared that my peers found me that I felt inferior. I thought that if I didn't seem to be more intelligent and capable than my peers, I would become nothing and no people would genuinely respect me, and I would have no meaning to live on this world, therefore I tried hard to seem to be intelligent and capable, and I failed it.

I feared that people looked down upon me, I feared that people thought I was incapable, I feared that people thought I was not intelligent, because I thought if people didn’t think I was intelligent or capable, they wouldn’t look up to me, if they didn’t look up to me, they would look down upon me, if they looked down upon me, I wouldn’t have dignity to live on this world, because I desperately wanted to live on this world and didn’t want to die, I desperately tried to make people think I was intelligent and capable so they wouldn’t look down upon me, so they would look up to me, so I could have “permit” to live on this world. It was like that people looked up to me was a permit for me to live in this world.

Forget self, accept everything, interact with Tao

You have to forget self to better serve self. You have to forget the existence of self to better serve self. You should not attach to self.  No attachment to self. You accept everything, you accept everything towards yourself, you accept everything in the world, you work with Tao, to achieve your goal. You accept that people despise you, because there is no "you"; you accept that people don't respect you, because there is no "you"; you accept that people reject you, because there is no "you"; you accept that people don't know that you have the deepest, grandest wisdom, because there is no "you".

You have to forget self to see the existence of Tao, to interact with Tao.
When you interact with the external world, you are interacting with Tao. When you forget to forget self when you are interacting with Tao. If you can not forget self, you can not interact with Tao, you are interacting with self.  You should not be attached to your feelings, your cognition, your values, your beliefs when you are interacting with the external world, when you are interacting with the external world, you should be attached to Tao. Tao is the principles and laws that the world operates on.

When you are communicating with the internal, you should forget self, you should accept everything. Accept that people despise you, accept that people don't respect you, accept that people think that they are nobler than you, accept that people think they have deeper wisdom than you, accept that people think they are correct while you're wrong,  accept that people want to display that they are correct and you are wrong, accept that people want to be pleased with themselves by comparing with you and showing that they are correct while you're wrong, accept that people want to be pleased with themselves by comparing with you and showing that they have deeper wisdom than you, accept that people want to be pleased with themselves by comparing with you and showing that they are deep while you are shallow.

The ultimate wisdom is paradox.

You can succeed easily when you interact with Tao wholeheartedly.

Yin and Yang

Internal, inside: You should have no fear, not upset;
External, outside: It is Tao.
It is not that your mind that determines everything. It is that your mind and Tao jointly determine everything.
You need to utilize Tao to achieve your goal, but when your inside(your mind) is upset or has fear, you won't be able to realize Tao, you won't be able to utilize Tao.
Your inside(your mind) is Pin. The external Tao is Yang.  You need to have a good Yin to realize Tao, to utilize Yang, but ultimately it is Yang that helps you achieve your goal. You need to clear the hindrance(fears) on your inside so you can better see the outside, the Tao, then you can better utilize Tao to achieve your goal.

Tao

To achieve your goal is to utilize Tao. You utilize Tao to achieve success.
To utilize Tao, you need to know Tao.

Tao exists objectively and it always exists. It doesn't exist in books, it doesn't exist in articles, it doesn't exist in someone's mouth. It exists in this objective world. The world is a result of Tao and human activities, humans can choose what to do, but it is Tao which determines what humans achieve.

To know Tao, you need to observe Tao, see Tao with your heart. Your mind needs not to be disturbed by your emotions, because Tao is an objective existence, it doesn't care whether you feel upset or not, but when you feel upset, you lose your ability to see Tao.

Accept everything. What upsets you, accept it. Accept what upsets you, so the thing that upsets you will lose its power(to upset you) after you accept it.

Think big, think long-term, think broadly, look at the big picture, trace to the root of the cause. Some are just symptoms, you need to trace to the root. Some are just derived from other things. You need to find the root which causes other things. Say, D is derived from C, C is caused by B, B is caused by A. You need to find A.

Leadership

Money is abundant. The core of society is to help each other and collaborate. Value exchange is a major form of helping each other. Money carries value, because you can buy value with money.
The money you can get comes from the value you create and deliver to people and this society. And there is no external limit on the value you can create and deliver to this society, people buy the value, therefore there is no external limit on the amount of money you can receive.

You need leverage to create much more value than you can create alone. You need to leverage resources to create much more value than you can create alone. All resources are ultimately possessed by people. So when it comes to leverage resources, you need to treat people fairly, you need to bring value to the people whom you leverage or whose resources you leverage.

You don't have to prove yourself to the world or to yourself. You don't need other people to respect you. You just need that you are respected by yourself, you don't need people to admire you, you just need to admire yourself, though you don't even have to admire yourself, you just need to love yourself.

You don't need other people's respect, approval, or admiration to make yourself happy. Happiness is just a result or state of your mind, it is determined by you, not by other people, it is determined by your brain, by your thinking, and your thinking is determined by you. So when you create value, you just want success.

When you don't have an ego, and you don't want to show how smart or capable you are, and you accept that people disrespect you or look down upon you, you will be able to be open-minded.

You are not smart, you just think big, you look at the big picture. You think big, you treat people fairly, because you know that money is abundant therefore you don't want to be petty, then people want to follow you, and naturally you become their leader.

The core of business is to create value and deliver value

The goal of a business is to create value and deliver the value to people(or companies, organizations) who need it.
As a business operator, he needs to focus on his goals, he needs to be open-minded, willing to learn, he needs to leverage all that can be leveraged, he needs to think big, he needs to be aware that the world is changing and he needs to be aware of the factors that make the changes happen. He needs to have good strategies. He needs to understand that expenses help you make more money. He needs to possess big picture thinking.

leverage

When you start a company, you are leveraging people to produce values for the society thus make money for you. When you start a company, you are leveraging a system to produce values for the society thus make money for you. You need to maximize the return on the time you invest.

Your thinking has a direction

Your thinking  has a direction. You consciously or unconsciously set the direction. For example, when you think that a business idea will work, you will find the reasons why it will work; when you think that a business idea will not work, you will find the reasons why it will not work. When you set a direction for your thinking, the reasons will also follow. The world will let you see what you want to see. So when you think that a business idea will not work, you will find the reasons why it will not work; when you think that a business idea will work, you will find that the reasons why it will work. The outcome of your thinking is simply determined by the direction you set for it. So whenever you think about something, please first set a direction for your thinking.
